One Lesson From Joe Opatowski's Life & Death
Joe seems like a very influential person. He went from a very stressful life situation, with having problems at home and having his brother being taken away from him, to running away and making only meets end to rent out a place as an undergraduate. This was a touching story because Joe goes to a camp after talking to a guy who never usually talks to him and focusing on what the camp is there for. Rather than focusing on all the girls like his friend. After the camp he continues on staying with the Free the Children program. He got involved in his own town and managed to help out some street runners and others in need. Eventually he moved to bigger situations that were incredibly difficult to see and bare with but he managed to make a difference no matter where he went just be making people happy.

Ur right for everything except one. He was never an undergraduate. He always wanted to go, but never had the chance.
ReplyDeleteJoe is loved by God and Joe loved God. He knew Jesus and tried to live his life in a way that he could reflect the life that God wanted him to live. Many times I tried to encourage Joe to talk about Jesus to the people he spoke to because at the time I felt that inclination to tell him that; and I remember him telling me clearly that he wanted to do that but with a different approach in a way that he would live it instead of preach it; that he would share his experiences with the world in a way that would impact people to realize their full potential as people with dreams that God has personally and individually instilled in each person. And give them the power through inspiration, speech, music; any avenue to send out this message in a way that it ought to b done; uniquely and through actions first and foremost. One thing that I believe distinguishes Joe from anyone is in the many ways he showed this in that he was able to take every negative experience in his life, depict it and somehow flip it from something negative to something that could be positive and learned from.... so just some words on my brother...Joe
