Leadership Quote

Don't tell people how to do things, tell them what to do and let them surprise you with their results.
George S. Patton
This is a very inspirational quote to me. I think it is saying that you just have to believe in people and let them show their true leadership skills on their own. When you tell people how to do things then they don't get to be creative and show their emotions through their work, but if you tell them what to do and let them do their own thing, they will surprise you with their results!

IDCI Report Card

The best thing about IDCI in my mind is our school spirit! Everyone that goes to this school is happy to be apart of this school. We always stick together and have a lot of participation. Whether it includes, sports games (football, basketball, volleyball), or school field trips like the stair climb. We always have a lot of people involved and cheering for our school!

My Legacy

The legacy i want to leave, or the things i want to be remember for when i die. First of all, I want to be known as unselfish, I admire people who are unselfish and always thinking of others, so i am going to work at it and hopefully be known as that kind of person.

Keith's Story

Keith reminds me a lot about Marc only because they are both incredibly unselfish men. They both amaze me. Keith is obviously very nice and thankful to just be alive, he doesn't expect to have a big house, and lots of fancy things. All he wants is to be an average guy and help other people out sot hey can be happy too. I think this takes a lot of courage because it's hard to be happy when you don't have a lot now a days, and Keith manages to be happy giving away money, his bigger house, and his unnecessary accessories while receiving nothing in return just to make others happy. I also admire Keith just like Marc.

Marc's Story

I thought this story was very heart warming. It takes a very unselfish person to do the things Marc did. He is an incredible man to be able to give up so much for so little in return. I wish I could say it's easy and that I would also be able to do that, but I know that's something that takes a lot, and it is very risky. I don't think I'd be able to be half the person Marc was. This is a perfect story for leadership, especially because he started almost all of this, he's the guy who made this school wide project possible! In conclusion, I admire Marc, and his story.

Whale Rider

I really enjoyed this movie. Not only was it a good movie for leadership students but I'd also recommend it to friends and family. I thought there was a slow start, and it made it hard to get into the movie, i also didn't like watching the movie with the class because it's hard to hear sometimes, and sucks we have to keep stopping it. Overall, I found the movie very good! I loved the ending and i definitely want to watch it again!

Spring Clean-Up Day

This sounds like a creative way to raisemoney for me to we. I think it's a good idea because we actually have to work to get the money rather than just setting up fun activities and getting people out of their classes. I really like this idea because not only are we raising money but we are also helping others out.

Me and Leadership

I am going to do an Easter carnival, and for that people will get out of school to come out to the back of the school. There will be food, beverages and lots of activities for everyone. Including, egg on a spoon from your mouth races, different kinds of relays and other fun carnival activities. I also want to do a boys vs. girls basketball game, because i know a lot of people would want to watch that, which could help raise money for me2we! One full game for the afternoon,a two dollar buy out. These are just some of my ideas, but i could easily come up with many more!
